Training and other information:
Ramblers have released an updated Walk Leader Handbook, which is a good guide to the things a Walk Leader needs to consider when planning and leading a group walk and draws on best practice from within Ramblers.
It is available on their website here.
There is also a shorter pocket-sized checklist available via the same link.
If you require any further guidance or have any questions please contact Morag Hunter, our Walks Coordinator, on 07817 339058 or by emailing
New Walk Leaders are always welcome!
The programme of walks has been put together for your enjoyment by our group of volunteer Walk Leaders.
If you have a favourite walk, or would particularly like to walk in a specific area, perhaps you would like to lead a walk in a future programme?
Leaders for all types of walks are welcome.
Alternatively, if you would like to lead a walk but are unsure where to go, help is at hand. If you are interested, and want more information, please contact Morag, either on a walk, by telephone 07817 339058, or by email
